| not necessarily a serious topic but not necessarily a light topic either. what do you guys think? there has been a lot of disasters recently. snow storms. multiple large scale earthquakes in Haiti and Chile, also flooding and all sorts of storms in western Europe. its very curious to see so many things happening in such a short time span. what are your thoughts? haha
please no religious stuff like repent now or perish and go to "Watch your language" etc. lets just keep this topic clean of stuff like that. thanks

| Humm...lets see, well currently we are in El Ninjo or nino or w/e so theres your weird weather..as for the earthquakes..well that tends to happen when your ass is on a giant fault line..in fact the New Madrid fault line in the US is way past due for its next massive shake up so who knows we may be sending aid to Missouri and the surrounding states in our lifetimes.
Ah and lets not forget Mr Global Warming thats causing shift in currents....and if Mrs Gulf Stream decides to chane her course (especialy the North Atlantic current) most of west Europe will turn into Siberia..but don't worry, insead of being -59 it will be -48, after all 2 degress change isn't that much right?
Just remember..dissasters repeat themseleves, and with the current el nino thingy were in for a interesting year, be prepared and be amazed at the beuty and indiscrimanate power of Nature.

| Yes. The end is near. We're all gunna die. Give up all hope of living. Just drop out of school. Steal a police car. Do something cool. hahhaha
Like Zane said, global warming has alot to do with extreme weather trends.
But hey, thats nature for ya. Doesnt mean "the end is near" or anything. Humans can adapt quickly to changes in their environment. Disaster only makes us greater.
This has all happened before.

| This is just the warm up phase for 2012 people so don't worry about it. Don't build a house near Yellowstone and don't make any big investments in California or the surrounding area. Also maybe book a hotel or something near the Himalayas and buy a small boat so you can pirate one the arks the worlds governments are building in the mountains so the human race can go on.
Joking aside i just think "Watch your language" happens, it's not the end of the world.

| People thought the world would end in: - 2005, Hurricane Katrina - 2004, Taiwan tsunami - 2001, 9/11 - 1906, San Francisco earthquake - Millions of years ago, the dinosaurs died from a volcano.
THE WORLD HASN'T ENDED YET. Don't expect it to any time soon.
It may seem dumb and weird why those people thought the world would end because of those events, but believe me in 5 years you will be thinking the same thing, "Wow, why did I ever think that..?"
By the way Europe and Asia are 2 different continents.

| Scientific evidence shows that Earth is over 4.5 billion years old. The world didn't begin 2,010 years ago.
1 billion = 1 million million 4.5 billion = four billion five hundred million.
