HTC Droid Eris

So I need a new phone...

Today in my photography course I left my phone on a desk and when I went back for it, it was gone.
Security locked down the building and checked each and every student as they walked out the door.
I've looked everywhere...but no luck...so I need a new phone!

Was looking at the HTC Droid Eris (Verizon) and thought it would be the best phone for me.
Anyone own this or know anyone that does? Experiences?

I can get it for less than $80 with my current plan.

My needs:
-Internet
-Good texting interface
-Camera
-Less than $100

After doing some research, I think it's the best for me for the price.
I'm done throwing $300 into phones

The Eris has a camera, internet, full keyboard (touch), android market (apps), and all kinds of other stuff.

Any thoughts?

Looks good, I've heard good things about most HTC phones.

Well my school is only 60 people...so locking down just means having everyone sit still for like 5 minutes hahaha.
