LOL so negative! But for a good reason...haha. JG, as you probably know, doesnt have the best quality control...so theres a large chance you'll get another lemon. But if it was worth enough to you while you had it working, I suppose its worth the risk Wish you luck and keep us updated...wana know how this turns out. Cheers for the night, everyone.

| There's your first clue, NN2H! Haha, if they describe a replica by saying "It will rape everything", they are not a professional retailer. | |

| They didn't happen to be Airsoft Titan, did they?
Also, I didn't mean for my other post to be insulting, if it seemed that way.

| i got it now. here's the review somewhat
JG MP5a4 (MP J) from Airsoft Gi First of all. Airsoft Gi tested the gun and put a test report sheet inside with my gun. they recorded it at 360 fps with no problems and it fast a tech check as well which is a major plus.
The gun itself game in a nice box with a crapload of chinese all over it. And come with: - the gun itself - 200 round metal high cap magazine - 8.4v 1100mah battery - cleaning rod - instruction booklet - trickle charge - barrel cover The is mainly made out of a terrible ABS plastic (which feels very solid) but all the important and parts that are used that most are metal. I.E. the trigger, the sights, the mag release, the prongs for the collapsible stocks, metal highcap and a few other various things. This gun feels very solid! and unlike the last JG mp5 i bought this one has a full metal gearbox. A few slight problems when i first got it. The stock seems very hard to adjust but after a few adjustments it loosened up and is easily adjusted now. also the magazine didn't seem to go in all the way, but the same thing after repeating the process a few times it went in easily. Also the Battery is a pain in the mother F#$%@&!# @## to get in, im worried i might break the gun or the battery trying to put it in. Other than that this gun is perfect. I haven't used this gun as of yet. but i will definitely use it this sunday. so after that that i will let you know how it performs. Pros - sturdy ABS plastic - Metal parts are where they need to be - adjustable stock (very sturdy stock btw) - shoots pretty hard (expect fps drop a little) - ROF is decent
Cons - Battery is a pain to get in - Stock was hard to adjust at first - Mag was hard to get in at first - the giant orange tip
Overall this gun is 100000000 percent better than the other JG mp5 i bought and all for nearly the same price!

Ah... On the MP5K models a stick battery goes on the very top of the gun basically right on top of the gearbox and behind the charging handle. Can't even use the handle when the battery's in haha.

| I had something very similar to this - a JG MP5 Navy, essentially the same thing except with RIS instead of the typical handguard. The battery was tiny, and had to fit into the equally tiny foregrip (which was a little like trying to thread a needle with a bigger needle), which then had to be mounted to the RIS. That, and the retractable/collapsible stock was broken on arrival. I honestly hated it, but I've always preferred rifles and big batteries to SMGs. | |

Ohhhh yeah on the Mp5's those are always a bunch of fun, especially if you lose either of the pins holding the guard on.

| i figured out why putting the battery in was such a pain. i wasn't placing the handguard right. i was placing it too far in. anywho i played with it yesterday and i am in love! it was shooting from 360-380 fps and was an absolute beast. it was light it was easy to handle. and just overall i love it more than my m4 (might sell my m4 stuff so i can buy more mp5 stuff) For a JG it seems really high quality. some of the people at my field were surprised it was a JG. they were like no way that is a JG etc. Also i removed the large orange flash hider to find an ACTUAL metal mp5 flashhider underneither with no orange on it at all. for 110 dollars i am absolutely in love!
