| that would look really cool. You can do that by yourself for about $70 cheaper. Grab scan of white, dark brown and black spray paint. First spray the gun black then spray large stripes of brown over the black. And finally hold some sticks over the gun and spray it. You'll get the stick outline in brown/black and the rest of the gun will be white.
I say go for it

| yeah, but M16-A3 normally doesnt use his L-96 in woodland enviroments, he usually only uses it when there is snow on the ground. | |

| http://www.larsontactical.com/index.htmlHere are some good examples of paint jobs. Enjoy. If you really want you gun to disappear, then a gun rag is the only way to go, having the same effect a ghillie does on a person. However, there are some excellent examples of paint jobs that I have seen, and while not every ones 'cup of tea', you do have to admire the standard of workmanship players have achieved. I'd say, if you're up for it, have a go yourself, and post your results for all to see here? | |

| I never thought I would say anything good about flecktarn, but I love that Urban Flecktarn paintjob. Thanks for posting that link as I would have never found that myself. I really would never have the need for it, but I have seen a couple urban paint jobs that make me want to paint one of my guns that way... I must say that I despise Flecktarn, but the above mentioned pattern is very nice! Always an educational moment with you DOA Draven!

| Roamer - you are welcome, the site has good examples of all sorts of camo paint jobs, to the point where I feel the need to get my airbrush out and have a go, but no one will lend me their gun ? Odd as I'm an artist, even sold some of my work. Educational experience? All I'm doing is passing on what little I know, information that others have taken the time to pass onto me over the years on similar forums, and so the cycle continues | |

| You know you have done a good job with your painting when somebody is inspired as I often have been to paint their own replica. It is just a little nerve racking the first time. | |

| That was a really good paint job but you can tell he had to practice alot before he was able to take that stroke with the cans. I think he had alot of promise in his painting, but that one might just null out and become one color at a distance, thats why I like patterns so much they keep the gun from nulling out.
I thought it was really cool though, good find.
[EDIT] M16a3, Doubletapps: have you guys ever considered doing something of a urban camo but replacing the black with a white, or just not painting the black if it already has a black in the pattern? I think it would work really well. Try Dravens link to see some BA urban patterns.[/EDIT]

| I will check it out, Sticks. Yeah, we both do a bit of Urban Assault every now and then so that would be kinda nice. Only not on his L96, of course | |
