| Okay guys, I am once more helping out a friend of mine. My friend wants an AEG to get him started, and these are his requirements. 1) Must be below $200 (keep in mind, he wants two or three mags) 2) Wants to use it for medium range engagements 3) Accurate 4) Must be from ASGI I referred him to Durkee's Post about beginner replicas, but he did not seem to read it, haha. I've been recommending Echo 1's G36C/K, but what do you guys think of the TSD replicas?

| TSD are supposedly gold, but I'm not sure. The Echo1 G36k is amazing, I have one, and with a red dot, magwell converter and new stock it would be the coolest gun ever. Try the ASGI Custom Guns too... | |

| Yeah, I showed him the Echo 1 G36C and K, and he seemed to like them. I also showed him a couple of the ASGI customs, but he didn't really respond to them, haha | |

| Actually, Get the JG now that I think about it, it's pretty much the same, and then you can buy that pistol or a bunch of upgrades for it too... | |

| I'm going to say anything G&G...
They have quickly become one of the best brands on the market and I, among others, can vouch for their amazing quality control and overall product performance. I can honestly say that I will never have to purchase another AEG again now that I have a rock solid G&G.
As far as G&G's go...there are quite a few options.
For an M4 style under $200...I'd go with the G&G M4 Carbine...
Has a basic body. Basic rail system. Good performance. Moderate FPS. Making it the perfect AEG for those looking to do a bit of their own customizations.
Pump it up with a better spring, barrel extension, and rail riser to make it DM worthy. Get a softer spring and throw in some Systema shims to make it a CQB Goddess.. Or just keep it the way it comes and you've got a high-end AEG that can fill just about any role and perform admirably without hesitation or need for extensive upgrading.
It really is my go-to replica for those not sure of what to choose. The G&G M4 can easily be transformed to fill any niche with minimal work. | |
