| Hi all, For a while now I've been thinking that I want to replace the M16 full stock with an M4 collapsible one. I'm using a G&G GR16R4 and was wondering if this is possible - and if so, what exactly am I looking at needing? | |

| The barrel is already the correct length - the only thing that needs changing is the stock. Buying it is the easy way out lol, I want to see if I can just convert | |

| I could probably trade you a GR16 M4A1 for it. The only problem is that the fire selector is broken. It has all of the M4 stuff. Or I may be willing to trade stocks if I can figure out how to get it wired to the back.. | |

| I have no experience with G&G M4s. That said, I'm thinking that there should be some manner of adapter for the stock, since I think it's a safe assumption they manufacture the same bodies and just kit them out with different things in the end. | |

| If the stock holds the battery you'll have to get it rewired if you want a regular LE stock OR buy a crane stock. Or an external battery pouch. I'm not 100% sure if a regular buffer tube would work on that gun by just taking off the stock... Not too great with AR15's | |

I can't just shove one of those stick batteries in the crane stock like I could the full size battery? They use the same connectors, don't they?

| No a full stick battery won't fit inside a crane stock. You'd need a crane stock battery for a crane stock. As for the conversion i'm not really sure but i want to say it's not as simple as throwing on a buffer tube and stock. | |

I expected not. What I'm thinking is that I have to take off the full stock, get some kind of crane stock adapter, screw that on, and then pop on the new stock.

haha anywho it should be farely easy to switch the stocks the only part that will be difficult is rewiring the gun to the front, unless of course you will invest in a crane stock?
