| I bought a rubber knife . I actually bought 3 of them (presents for my door-kicker, and rear-guard, and one for myself). The company is Cold Steel (my favorite knife company), and is made out of hard plastic and rubber. The places that we play allow the use of knives as long as the hits are not to the head or throat. To make the story of why I really wanted these short: Myself, and my team were in the mood for a knife fight after one of the rounds, and we had nothing to really do it with, so i used MP7 magazines, which worked great, but I wanted something better. I bought these off of amazon and spent the whole day fighting in my basement with my rear-guard. Now it is important to let you all now that me and this guy are INCREDIBLY aggressive. We both do airsoft and paintball, and really like to play using speed and lots of ammo. We were downstairs fighting with the knives (and our fists), and this left us both with multiple cuts, bruises, and memories. The rules we use are that the part of your body that you get hit in is considered crippled, and cannot be used. Arms cannot be used, hop on one leg, etc. Finger hits are not crippling, and body hits are kills. NO head hits. This was easily the most fun I have had in a long time. So I wanted to know everyone's opinions on knives being used in airsoft, and this type of "fight" being used in-between games. | |

| You're stupid! Just kidding, Sno! Sounds awesome, have any links? I could use them with some of the guys in my unit when we want to mess around. (I love combat disarms! ) | |

| HERE YOU GO I did about 40 Disarms today (I was taught how to by a marine in Georgia- when I lived there), and it was so fun that I am going to suck it up (the pain killer xD) and play again tomorrow. This is the cheap one, but I believe that their is 3 other ones that are a bit more expensive. This is about 10 inches, by the way, which, in my opinion, is the perfect size for a combat knife. | |

| Haha, I will answer your question to tell you what I was told. If you like 1911s, get a double sided, longer knife (such as the peace keeper or the military classic-which is too long) but if you like glocks, get a tanto bladed knife. I do not know why this works, but it works for me, so I can't complain. I didn't buy the tanto because of the price difference, but I might go buy one tomorrow. Use this information if you like, as it has worked for me and quite a few other people who I have told this to.
**EDIT** And now I want one of those handguns. Hahah
I also forgot to mention that it is weighted PERFECTLY and is VERY accurate when thrown.

| I haven't heard that about the knives. I think I'm just going to get two of the Peace Keepers and that gun, though. Thanks for the tip though! | |

| Yeah. I don't understand it except that longer knives have a straight handle generally, but tantos have angled handles. I will try to contact the guy who told me that and let you know why later. Sounds very good, and I think that I am going to buy the tanto and one of those guns tomorrow. haha. | |

| I'd imagine it would be because the Tanto has a straight edge on the top, which would be a little more similar to a Glock's slide, and the Classic/Peace Keeper would feel more similar to a 1911's slide. Just a guess, though | |

| I kinda want one or two of those knives now.... I also want to get into learning some of that stuff, the combat disarms and so forth. I used to know a couple basic "deflect-and-counter" moves but not anymore.. It's fun | |

If I buy the tanto, I will send you my current knife, if you would like. It is very good to learn those types of maneuvers. And the 1911/Glock thing, that is also very possible. I just really like the looks of tantos

| Practicing hand to hand combat is a lot of fun! Nothing is better than knowing you beat your opponent using nothing but knowledge, strength, and the human body (and in this case, rubber knives, haha)! I'm going to place my order tomorrow! | |

Ooooo Yeah, I may or may not buy a new one, but would be happy to let you have it. I have decided that I am going to get HAND GUARDS for future sparring with my friend, because of how my hands look like right now. haha.

Many victories/defeats today, but I like my knuckles not all being split from getting hit. I would expect that from paintball more. haha

| well, if you must get hand protection, I suggest those CQB gloves that have rubber on the back to protect from bbs. Those should help a lot. | |

| I may do that, actually. Then I could use them for CQB also. I use 5.11 gloves for CQB right now, and they are great, but do not protect for "Watch your language". Have any suggestions? | |

| well, the ones I have are from Evike, and I've only seen them at Evike. If you wish to risk your money there, then that would be the place to get them. I like the gloves though. Fairly grippy, nice and comfortable, too. Mine are the ones without the fingers.
Could you PM me a link to those 5.11 gloves?

| PM'd I think I might get one of the training swords, as I am getting into fencing, and some sparring with similar sized weapons may be good. | |

| Just a question, do the blades bend when you stab? Or is it stiff rubber..? Just want to know because I don't want to have and/or give a bruised rib Also my brother wants to order like 4 of these now so I don't think sending yours will be necessary. Thanks for the offer though! | |
