| Does anybody know if any ambidextrous are available for any gas powered M16/M4? I want one with ambidextrous mag release and fire selector. Hopefully I can find one so I can use my rifle lefty. | |

| Not trying to take over Jarhead's post, but my G&G m4 (blazing hog asgi custom) is set up for a right handed person, how easy would it be to take off the lower receiver and replace it with either an ambidextrous selector switch, or just a plain left handed switch? | |

| I've seen a few ambidextrous ones for AEGs out there. I'll try to find them when I get home. And don't worry, I don't mind. | |

| Okay, I believe I have a solution for at least one of you. Something like this thing should work for both of you. I'm pretty sure it will because every AR15 magazine release works the same. On AR15's, gas or AEG's alike, the button just pushes out the nub that catches on the inset on the magazine, which makes it come loose. So you should be fine with one of those. As for the selector switch I'm kind of iffy on gas rifles. Warsaw, I'm pretty sure you would have to get a completely new gearbox if you wanted an ambidextrous switch. One that was made for an MP5 or G36, and that's not really worth it at all. Reason being, the M4 selector switch just pushes an electrical plate back and forth, the rod doesn't go all the way through to the other side of the gearbox like it would on an MP5 or G36. Jarhead999, I don't know about it for gas rifles. I know that the WE SCAR* has and ambidextrous switch so I know it's possible for GBB rifles. *I know, I keep mentioning the WE SCAR. Sorry, haha | |

*I know, I keep mentioning the WE SCAR. Sorry, haha Haha, no worries. Since the SCAR is a WE, and the gun I'm aiming for (no pun intended) is a WE, there should be some sort of kit to make it ambidextrous. I'll look around on the Asian Markets and see what I can find. | |

| The problem with an ambidextrous AR15/M16/M4 is the Selector Switch, since the Selector Plate is on the Left hand side of the GB you are going to need a set-up similar to that of the SCAR, suplimental gears in the Lower reciever, or a `` Through ´´ Pin. How that would be installed is beyond me, since the lower receiver has very limited space. | |

| So you think I'd need a miracle to get it installed? | |

| No, not a miracle, just somebody smarter than me The CA V2 Gearbox is set up for both left and right fire selection, the problem is there are an additional 6 gears needed to make it work. One of the main reasons why so many shy away from the SCAR, it is an absolute Bear to breakdown, and an even bigger Biatch to put back together, just imagine what it´s like getting all the gears to line up correctly. I´m sure it can be done with the AR-15 - M4 series of guns, it is just a matter of figuring it out. | |

| The GBB system just shoves the Dust Cover back and forth. | |
