Darn didn´t think it was that hard
Only 4 of these Completly Functional Motorized Wheeled Vehicles were ever built, tho none were ever destroyed, only one of the originals can be seen today, Name the Vehicle and what happened to the other 3 ?
The Vehicles were the LRV ( Lunar Roving vehicle ) or Moon Buggy, the only one of the 4 that still can be seen today is at the NASA Space Center, and why can´t we see the other three ??
Because they were left on the Moon ! The rover used on Apollo 15 was left on the lunar surface at Hadley-Apennine (26.10 N, 3.65 E). The rover used on Apollo 16 was left on the lunar surface at Descartes (8.99 S, 15.51 E). The rover used on Apollo 17 was left on the lunar surface at Taurus-Littrow (20.16 N, 30.76 E). Talk about a waste of taxpayers money, the first one cost something like 38 million dollars to make.
Ok let´s bring it bac to the military shall we, Zoomer Trivia !!!
The motto of the F-105G Wild Weasels is `` YGBSM´´.
Three Cookies up for grabs here,
What does it stand for ? Who is accredited with being the first to say it ? and Why ?
Good Luck.

Oh I know this one!! Stands for "You Gotta Be Sh*ting Me"?? Was first said by some guy named Jack...don't remember the last name...think it starts with a "D". This Jack guy was being used as a target or decoy or something to attract enemy AA. Just read about this last night

Yeah it was some new tech they were using...make the radar units or SAM's target your plane then track em back to the source and take em out...pretty cool stuff.

Zane and Spl Durkee both get 2 cookies for this one, you both missed the name
YGBSM=You Gotta Be SH!tting Me Capt Jack Donavan is accredited with being the first to have said it, it was his reaction during the initial breifing on just what the Wild Weasels job was and it actualy goes as far back to the F-100 Weasels and Bears. During the intial briefing it was explained to the crews that they would be flying unarmed F-105 Thuds into heavily defended territory, their job was to act as a target for AA and SAM positions, locate, identify hostile positions for follow on attacks by bomber crews, their only defense was the equipment available to the EWO, Flares, Chaff, Electronic Jamming, needless to say all were suprised and Capt. Jack Donavan summed up everybodies feeling quite well.
Let´s go to the movies, Since there is a simular thread here in the Lounge, Band of Brothers will the target question.
Not counting the commetaries given by the surviving members of Easy Company, only one surviving member of Easy Company actualy appears in the series.
Who is it ? What Episode ? During what action ? What is he doing ?
and as an added bonus,
What actualy happened to Pvt. Albert Blithe ? ( pssst The series is wrong )

The surviving member was the guy at the beginning/end, right? The one that was at the cemetery... Or am I thinking of Saving Private Ryan... Wild guess.
And Blithe was hit in the shoulder, not the neck...and if Im not mistaken, he survived. We were talking about that on the DB HAM net last night.

Erm.... he was waving a flag in Eindhoven in part four of the series and was referenced many times in the book. He and William "Wild Bill" Gaurnere would good friends. His real name is Edward Heffron. After the war, he worked at a disterillery and later at a dock (I believe).
Other than that, I'm afraid I don't know what sort of details you want there, slob.
