Hi, this is Accordion Man.
I was wondering what kind of gear would be good for woodland. I have an AEG and act as a infantryman and DM. I am planning on getting a sniper rifle and a scope too, but later. I would just like some recommended gear, no links necessary.

Most important is full-seal eye protection, a good pair of boots, and an effective set of camo that matches your playing area well.

Anything else, get it when you need it. The last thing you want to do is buy and haul around a bunch of unnecessary gear. If you're on the field and run out of ammo a lot, then buy extra mags and some way to carry them. If you don't quite have the range you want, buy a tighter bore barrel and/or heavier BBs, etc.

What gear you need depends on your playing field, your game types, and your playing style.

+1 To Omega's post
Tell us what you want as far as eye-pro goes, and we can give you some recommendations. As far as boots, I recommend Belleville 550s. They are Marine Corps issue, and very, very rugged. I have some and they can take a beating. They will last you forever, too. Easily the most comfortable footwear I have ever worn. The price is worth it, trust me. For your area, I'd recommend either MARPAT woodland or CADPAT woodland camo.

i live in a heavily wooded area and i have Marpat but i would rather have Multi-cam. multi-cam would be strongly recommended on my behalf.

depends on you kid. you could run from a basic alice rig. to a full out vest that pouches hang off pouches. but multi cam or marpat would work even acu depending. as for a vest i use a cross draw fits my personal needs. molle is nice i'de recomend it unless you like fixed pouches.
