| Hi, I own a KWA/USP Compact GBB pistol. Recently, I have put so much time, money and effort into fixing it up. One thing breaks on it, I fix it, and then another thing breaks-it's RELENTLESS!! I just recently bought a new spring guide for it, and now the Magazine is leaking gas like no tomorrow! It's leaking SO MUCH that I can hear it form like 20 feet away, and 30 if its upside down or on its side....It empties itself in about a minute. heres a pic of the mag: Thanks in advance for all your help. | |

| Where abouts is it leaking from?
From around the base? The base on most GBB mags is removable, usually held in by a pin that can be gebtly knocked out using a tool of the right diameter. The base then drops out, and you will see how it seals, most likely an O ring type piece in there. When my M92F mags leaked from this area, I took the base off as above, applied silicon sealent around the join, re-assembled, waited 24 hrs, re-gassed and no leaks.
Or from around the valve? Try reseating the valve, and while removed check the O ring is in good condition, otherwise replace.
Is the Mag new? Take it back to where you bought it from, in the UK we have a Sales of Goods Act, that states anything sold should be fit for purpose, I'm sure it must be the same over there?
Some ideas, and ensure the mag is empty before taking apart!

| Ouch, then you have nothing to loose by attempting a repair. Perhaps some more detail where the leak is, and some photos of that area, and you might be suprised at the help you will get Either way good luck. | |

| It's leaking from that rubber thing on top, right behind where the BBs load. If I put my finger over it, the leaking and the noise stop, so I know its leaking from that black rectangular-rubber thing. Its black rubber, but it looks white in the pic because of the light. | |

| that little button on the backof the magneeds to be tightened.or you need to replace the O ring in thegas release valve, which is the valve right under the black rubber part..
Good luck

| http://www.airsoftcommunity.co.uk/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t118030.htmlOk a shameless link to a simular problem to what you have, on my local forum in the UK. While I do not have the same pistol as you, so no experience on it, I did a google search for KWA/USP Mag Leak, and it seems you are not alone. Have a read through the article on ASCUK and it might give you some ideas. Alternatively, just buy a new one, but if you are anthing like me, you're short of cash, and give me ahammer big enough, I'll try to fix anything. Keep us posted........ | |

| Haha, thanks. I would buy a new one....But I already DID. And that one broke, a tiny little valve thing on the battom of the mag came out and now its impossible to load the mag. But one thing at a time here, I will try all of your suggestions.....any idea where I can buy an O-Ring? Or, Sticks, you suggested tightening the button that releases the gas. How do I do that? I see no screws or bolts or anything of the like around it. Thanks for all the help.....AGAIN! haha. | |

| If the leak comes from the gas loading nozzle at the bottom of the mag, most likely the 0-ring needs replacement. If the leak comes from the bottom plate which houses the nozzle, you can remedy this buy applying rtv silicone around it and letting it cure 24 hrs. (rtv silicone is used in cars). Once it is fully cured load some gas and dip the whole mag in water to see if there are still some leaks... hope this helps | |

Keep us posted........ Thanks for the link. I know its been awhile, but I just made a fifth attempt at taking apart and fixing it.....ALOT has happened with this mag since my last post on this topic, but I just finally put it back together and got it working again! However, It's still leaking tremendously.....from that rubber thing on the top. Some suggest I need a new O-Ring. Is it under that rubber thing? If so, how do I remove that rubber thing, and "Replace" that O-Ring? Where can I buy an O-Ring? Thanks for the link, I read through it, and am a bit confused but it did help some.
