| I need some help with identifying all the different types of gas. What is what? I've seen HFC 134a, HFC22, Duster Gas, Red Gas, Green Gas, Top Gas, and I've even heard of Blue Gas. Could you guys explain what each one is? I'm so confused right now, thanks to the Asian markets. | |

| Top gas refers to green gas, and HFC, I think. The way I remember gases, i remember the power they gases are. The order goes from
Red Gas Green Gas HFC 134a HFC22
Someone correct me on what I wrote, I don't feel its 100% accurate, but its something like that. But it goes something like that, never heard of Blue Gas or Dustergas, sorry man.

| Green gas i know is just propane mixed with a little silicone and laced with perfume. Dustergas sounds like stuff you use to clean a computers key board. | |

| Your Red, Yellow, Green, and Black Gas ( never heard of Blue ) are all Propane based, their power comes from the amount of Propane in each mixture of Silicone and Perfume, the Perfume is added due to the fact that Propane is oderless, even the stink is an addative.
Your HFC gasses are refrigerent Gasses, the same used in the AC in an auto, or refrigerator, again with silicon and perfume added. Genetron 134a is a non-ozone depleting, non-VOC propellant which is used in a variety of industrial aerosol formulations where nonflammability is desireable or essential. It has a vapor pressure profile similar to that of CFC-12 and is miscible with a variety of propellants and solvents. Genetron 134a is compatible with most of the plastics and elastomers commonly used in aerosol packaging. It has a very low order of toxicity. Depending on where you live and the EPA laws, it could be illegal to use.

| Okay, so let me make sure I understand this.
Green, Red, and Black gas are all essentially different mixtures of propane, perfume, and silicone. HFC22 and HFC134a are both referigerant gasses.
Right? | |

| The Blue Gas we've all heard about, I believe was brought up by Sticks in a post, a long while back... | |

| Blue gas is 134a, I don't know why its called blue at all. But why do we call green gas green? 134a was marketed as blue gas by one of the companies for a little bit. The name disappeared not long after I started playing seriously. Good luck finding this legally in the US now. I used to use it exclusively because it was more consistent, but I believe it is illegal here in the Ohio now.
Slob hit the nail on the head with everything else.
