| perhaps a little bit. If need be, just cut down the irons a bit or buy some sort of riser. | |

| I don't know about you but the rear sight and front sight assembly on my shell of an MP5K are removable, so worse case you could just take them off.
I suggest getting a high-profile mount instead of a low-profile one. Or a riser like Jarhead999 said. | |

| On my G36C, I use my red dot with no riser or anything. Yeah, the irons can be the way, but I've gotten used to them. And this way, I can still use them when my optics die.
And yes, if you want to get your stuff six months from now and get it broken. | |

The thing I see most guys here are confused about is most red dots were designed to have the irons "in the way". This is called co-witnessing, and its this way so that you can use your gun effectively if your red dot dies. sticks | |
