Radio Comms? Empty
PostSubject: Radio Comms?   Radio Comms? Icon_minitimeThu Apr 08, 2010 5:38 pm

Ok so i have a two way radio that i use when out in the field, but would like to get a headset for it to keep it out of the way. So i have a standard Cobra one pin radio, but i don't know what headsets will work, wont work, does it have to be made by Cobra, etc.

I do know that it has to be a one pin connector...and hopefully a throat mic or small boom mic. If you can post links please do so!

Check these threads out:
http://www.airsoftallies.com/clothing-gear-accessories-f4/throat-mike-t4402.htm?highlight=throat
http://www.airsoftallies.com/general-airsoft-discussion-f3/radio-comm-etiquette-and-jargon-t3232.htm?highlight=radio

That first one, if you read on, has other accessories listed...such as a helmet-mounted boom mic system and others.

Hope that helps.

Xbox 360 mics aren't very durable, and it would need some modifications to fit in a normal one-pin microphone output. You'd have to break off some of the plastic around the pin.

I'm not sure Zane purchased it yet. Although Admin did do a review of it a while back, I believe.
