You know how I said I wasn't going to buy big-time airsoft gear until I got a job? Well I've been able to hold that promise..... Sort of
But that part can wait.
Today, during a great day of airsoft, I was informed by a colonel that I made the team I was going for. We're still deciding on names, that will take a while. But I'm on a team now which is great
.
Today, I also traded my JG AK for a JG M4. The M4 used to be the Ika Zuchi or Dragon or whatever the poop you wanna call it, but the guy swapped out the front end to be standard length, wired it to the front, and got an SPR grip and a cheapo crane stock, which are very comfortable. I technically didn't "buy" anything.. promise held
.
So you're probably wanting to see a picture of the M4 buy now but I can't do that at this time... Well, I could, but the picture would be all washed out with light and super blurry. Tomorrow
It's quite a nice rifle if you ask me. It shoots at around 360fps, not bad for my style of playing. It's decently accurate but the only thing is I can't use the irons with the mask I have, so I'll be looking for some goggles that fit over glasses. But I'm glad I have this rifle now, it will be a helluva lot easier to do a US Army loadout in the future.
EDIT: I plan on putting an Aimpoint replica on there and maybe getting an RIS.
