| I just bought a genuine PASGT helmet off of ebay for $51. I think it will be nice, and I decided to buy it, considering it was just a small amount more than a replica. Does anyone have any experiences with these helmets or know any "upgrades" that I could/should get for it? I would like to get a surefire helmet light, and a pair of BOLLE goggles. | |

| Hmm... that looks interesting. I may consider that. Does anyone know where to find really good quality goggle straps for the back of the helmet? | |

| Get a cover for it. If it's just a black helmet it's going to be easy to spot and it will get super hot if you play in the sun. Not so bad if it's tan or OD but still, it would look better with a cover. | |

You mean the bunny ears? You don't really need them, just safety pin the goggle strap to the helmet cover. If you absolutely positively must have them, check BLACKHAWK! and 5.11. I think one of those two has the bunny ears.

| Quality doesn't seem to matter much with bunny ears. I think I got mine off of ASGI. But most definitely get a cover for it. I modified my cover so I could put both it and bunny ears on at the same time. Great thing about that is the cover doesn't slide around since it's bolted on. lol | |

| Alright. I'll get a flecktarn and a multicam cover for it. It came with a regular woodland one, but I probably won't use it. The helmet is OD | |

| I wear one, i'll say this it will add a nice sense of realism to your game but be prepared to swelter in the heat and your neck to tired from the weight. Other then that though having a real PASGT is pretty sweet IMO.
Depending on the strap system on yours you may like to consider getting the new style straps like they have on the MICH helmets. I cannibalized mine off my plastic MICH and prefer it greatly over the old style PASGT strap. You can also replace the liner webbing with pads to make it more comfortable, they're only around $15-$20. And oh with the Flecktarn cover on it you can just run the goggle straps through the loops on the cover. I have mine rigged that way and it's as simple as can be and doesn't anything extra.

| Aah. I now remember the cover for the fleck. That would actually work very well. I already have planned out putting in pads and a new strap for it already. This helmet will most likely not be used in airsoft, but be added to my uniform collection, instead. EDIT: Can I put a helmet cover, NVG mount, and a surefire flashlight all on at the same time? Thanks | |

| Sure but they'll be holes in the helmet cover from the mounting screws. | |

Please do not respond to questions or comments for the sole purpose of raising your forum "rank" (post count). This doesn't mean all your reponses have to be five paragraphed, awe-inspiring messages, but overly-simple responses like "LOL" or "No way!" will be counted as rank posts. You seem to be doing this, I mean like you have been here about 1 day, and you have what, 75 posts? Calm it down, quality, not quantity. Sorry for being off topic, I had to let that out.
