Gspec?

okay so i got my friend convince the BAR 10 is for him but he is now asking whether to get a gspec or a normal BAR. i told him the gspec has a shorter barrel so less accurate and less fps but more mobile. is there any other difference?

Yes g-spec's aren't usually as versatile in the way of upgrades/mods but the plus is they are more mobile and don't necessarily are worse but they aren't better my advice just go with the normal bar-10.

Yeah you know what they say about rumors but look it up for your friend.
and tell him to get a tighbore barrel and look at this forum link for a very good modding guide

same internals except spring. its weaker than the pro......I own one. lol


Go pro unless he plan on putting some major mulah into the G-Spec....in the near future.

The nice thing about the g spec is it comes with a silencer (sucks stock but it's a easy fix) there are free upgrades that you can do to get it 500fps+ (this is were the silencer comes in becouse it gets realy loud when you do the upgrades)

Pro's is better on account of 130+mm of extra inner barrel.....you can put a 430 in the G-Spec....you just need to drill the silencer adapter out...like i did....

If he isn't going to upgrade in the first 2 months just get the pro..its better out of the box.

Depends on what meaning of ''basic'' is. A TBB'ed Pro will out preform a TBB'ed G-spec all day long.

If you get a pro you can still put a silencer on it FYI...

I regretted getting the G-Spec until i upgraded it with $300 in parts.......

so if he is gonna do the airbrake and teflon tape mods its not worth it? and if you could show me what silencer would fit what would be awesome as well

With a thread adapter you can use pretty much any 14mm threaded silencers

I believe it's a sticky somewhere in "The Sniper's Nest" section of AA. Not sure which area though....
