Just downloaded Blender...really wanting to get into 3D rendering as it will help with prototyping for projects...
...but I'm extremely overwhelmed.

Anyone know the Blender or CAD interface?

Ya It's kinda a weird layout and stuff...but its free, so I can't complain.
I'm hoping to find some good tutorials, because the application looks promising.

Kinda looking for something to prototype my UAV and rocket launcher builds...

For rendering and modeling I use Gmax Its the free version of 3DMax that most big game developers use to model ther stuff....its was used on the Famous Halo 3 game BTW

Ya I got Blender and have been playing around with it for a few days...its just so complicated. The interface really sucks...icons are hard to figure out.

I'm downloading Gmax right now...looks alot simpler.

Will check out Autodesk as well.

Lol "thanks".
Looks like a much simpler interface. Does it have a physics generator?
