| Just downloaded Blender...really wanting to get into 3D rendering as it will help with prototyping for projects... ...but I'm extremely overwhelmed.
Anyone know the Blender or CAD interface?

| Ya It's kinda a weird layout and stuff...but its free, so I can't complain. I'm hoping to find some good tutorials, because the application looks promising.
Kinda looking for something to prototype my UAV and rocket launcher builds...

| For rendering and modeling I use Gmax Its the free version of 3DMax that most big game developers use to model ther stuff....its was used on the Famous Halo 3 game BTW | |

| Ya I got Blender and have been playing around with it for a few days...its just so complicated. The interface really sucks...icons are hard to figure out.
I'm downloading Gmax right now...looks alot simpler.
Will check out Autodesk as well.

| Lol "thanks". Looks like a much simpler interface. Does it have a physics generator? | |
