| I went down to the local gun shop a couple days ago and was greeted by this. I spent some time running some gas through it, taking it down, and cleaning it, and I really like it. Can anyone give me a little info about it? If it's a good little replica, I may just have a new one to field soon! edit: also, could you guys possibly link me to some compatible mags for it? | |

| I have one of their baby high-capas, they're great guns and are actually WE's under a different name as far as i know (mine even has WE on the grips). They're no KJW's or KWA's but mine has served me well for about a year now with no problems. Being a WE you can use WE mags in it, http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=60_62&products_id=1833. | |

| Is this the one you have? Because that's actually one I've been looking at lately. I'd love to get a review on it, if you have the time. | |

| They are basicly the WE tech guns just with a Giant CASPIAN engraving....so..they are going to be a gas hog like all the WEs im hearing about(I still want one though) | |

| I can get about one and a half mags out of mine on a warm day, half to 3/4 on a cold day if i'm lucky. This is mine, the other is the straight up WE model. Since you've already held one you know how they feel and how easy they are to break down. Blowback is solid and reliable although on cold days or when the mag is almost empty the slide won't lock back like it should. Performance wise they're not to bad, i've never chronoed mine but i believe it's somewhere around 330fps. Accuracy isn't to bad for such a short barrel but it isn't anything great either. And like i said i've used mine for about a year now with no problems and i've only cleaned it once really well. | |

| Okay, cool cool. Here's a question for you: I have big hands, so it makes it hard for me to hold smaller pistols comfortably. Do you think I will have problems with the 3.8? I'm a little worried about it.... | |

| My hands are big as well and i have no trouble holding it. It's not actually like a compact for real steel where the grip is usually considerably smaller then a full size version. Plus with the double stack mag the grip is thicker also. | |

| Okay, that's good. If you had to compare the grip to another AS GBB, what would be? I know it's kind of an odd question, but.... | |

| I haven't held many other GBB's so i really can't say anything to them save perhaps the SOCOM WE's. | |

| Okay. Do you know if there are any upgrades on the market? And what are the weak points of the replica? | |

| I haven't really looked but WE cloned a TM 1911 high-capa and i've seen upgrades and parts for the them so i'd imagine they'd work with the Caspian. Personally there's nothing on the gun that i've felt the need to replace other then maybe getting a TBB for it.
Oh yeah i just remembered that on mine the right hand side slide safety kept falling off. I don't know if it's mine or they all have that problem but if that's the case it's no big deal, it doesn't effect anything unless you're a lefty. | |

| Okay, cool cool. I've been hearing that the slide lock will fail after a while. This hasn't happened to yours, has it? | |
