Could I be a DM with the following (note: this is mostly for woodland combat)

please give me your thoughts and recommedations, as far as the gear and even being a DM.

Yes, you could with the G3. From what I've heard, it's accuracy and FPS are very good, I'd just say upgrade to a tightbore barrel (6.03) for even better accuracy.

Not sure about the pistol, seems a little cheap, but that's my opinion.

Those pockets are designed for STANAG-style magazines (aka M4/M16/SCAR/etc). I doubt a G3 mag would fit. Also, I don't think that the vest is very good, I'd recommend a Condor plate carrier w/ pouches, but again, that's my opinion.

I was watching some reviews on this Vest before and the person doing the review had a Echo 1 G3 and had mags for it in
the vest.

My friend started out on an Echo 1 G3 (basically the same gun), and he got a scope and mount for his. The scope really isn't worth it on that gun. A claw mount for that thing is going to be really expensive too. If you want to upgrade the accuracy, get a tightbore barrel instead of a scope. I have no idea how hard or easy the G3 is to upgrade though.

I would advise against that pistol. That thing's velocity is going to be higher than your G3. You WILL hurt someone with that. No point getting peoples' parents upset when they need to go to the hospital.
