Problems with my Echo 1 G36c Empty
PostSubject: Problems with my Echo 1 G36c   Problems with my Echo 1 G36c Icon_minitimeTue May 25, 2010 11:41 pm

Hey guys,
I haven't been on in a bit just because I haven't really been playing much airsoft... But now Im back.
So I pulled out my Airsoft gun after storage for the winter, yestorday actually, and cleaned the barrel, made sure everything was looking good before taking it outside to get it ready.
Well, when I was trying to dial the hop up in, it was shooting pretty low. I was spinning up a ton, but still, it was heading down. Now, it was about 95 degrees and Humid as ever, so that could be why. But it just annoyed me
Second, Ive had this problem from the start. After only a few minutes of firing, my airsoft gun will just stop working. Now, this could just be the battery, so Im charging both that one, and another spare, which is a little larger power-wise, and its a little better.

Is there anything obviously wrong or something I should/shouldnt be doing to prevent this stuff from happening again?

Thanks guys

sounds like a problem with your hop-up. perhaps you just need to change the bucking (it might be worn down from long usage ooorrrrr it just succumbed to the environment(cold etc)

as for it not shooting. as you stated it might be a battery problem, also your wiring might be the problem. (perhaps they are old as well and aren't delivering power as well)

thats my opinion, but im a noob. thats the best i can give you. hope it helps

Actually, the gun isn't even 5 months old. I recived it as a Christmas Present from my parents, which is why this is so odd to me.

ah, even then there could still be the case you got "the one" out of a batch of good g36s... meaning you got one of the rifles that seemed fine at first but broke down soon after.

what i think is the same as before.
replace your bucking, check your hop-up.

and new battery or change the wiring. (change the fuse as well if you are going to do that)

I charged up the new battery and It worked just fine. I also zero'd in the Hop-up too, so it must have been the heat change. Im all good now.
