| ALICE is better. Those LBVs never made it into an Issue-Item. Besides, those LBVs suck really bad. I used to have one, but I traded it for a barrel condom and seven dollars, haha. | |

| Just an ALICE rig. They're all the same. You can roll with H-Suspenders or Y-Suspenders, either one will work. The pouches and belt is the same either way. I will certainly help you out with a list for the ALICE gear if you're interested. | |

| Hahhaa I just did this for my sniping loadout, not exactly the same but a lot like it. Like he said they are everywhere, I went into the surplus store and I saw every thing he posted. Instead of buying the ALICE but pack though I got a molle one (it's better and works on both my alice and my Cross Draw) as for that it's simple I can honestly say it will run you at max 70 dollars. | |

| That's about how much mine ran me, too. I ended up spending $30 on a brand new never used GI-Issue butt pack. The site phredryxun linked you to is where I bought most of my ALICE rig. | |

| Yeah, I do recommend you get MOLLE pouches, I know it's not exactly 90's but I know you have a MOLLE vest so it could be a universal thing for you. | |

| I own a GR-16 A2. Can't speak for the plastica. I've had no problems with mine. I know a guy with a different model GR whose magazine catch fell off. The accuracy wasn't quite what I wanted, so I dropped in a new 6.01, bucking, and a metal hop unit (G&G uses plastic as you may know). Now the accuracy is excellent and the fps is still safely under 400. It can just barely handle .28g BBs with maximum hop now. I'd recommend .25 though. | |

That and Tan boots weren't really common until the current war in Iraq. It was all black leather baby!
sticks I thought they also wore PASGT vests in Somalia? Didn't they? | |

| I would just buy one of the M16a2's if I was you, make it simple on yourself. Plus it gives you another gun to add to your armory. | |

| Jarhead, the normal army had PASGT/interceptors(late 90's). But the Rangers used the RBA for most of the 90's.
