| don't be nervous. its best to retain a calm and cool manner. my first time i went all by myself. i was super nervous. but i held it in, and i ended up making many good friends. just try to be friendly. don't get to into it (fighting people about calling their hits etc) later on when you establish your foothold in their community thats when you can do stuff like that. but my main idea. is to just have fun! | |

| Hey good to see you found Sequoia (you're welcome ) Its a great field...just make sure you go on a day when they're doing the raffles...the one time I went I missed it. Are you going to be running woodland BDU's? -Remember not to hose people (unless you're running a LMG, then I would consider that "suppressive fire" ) -Only aim for the head/face if it is the only exposed body part. -Make sure you're shooting under their FPS limit with .20's because thats what they chrono with. -Say hi to Spencer Rank if you see him, he's often there for the larger events...and was the guy that introduced me to Sequoia. Otherwise have fun and keep it safe. And bring like $20 extra. | |

| Umm, if you shoot somebody in the head, make sure you hit their goggles, or their hat if they are wearing on, it will make it hurt less for them.
you may want to run a gear check, to see if you have everything you need, and take a few other things just in case.
Umm try to tag along with groups of people and listen to them instead of rebelling, and doing what you think.
theres a few. | |

| Tipss....Tipss.....lay off the NOS. If you're really doing work, moving aropund a lot at an event (As us younger players tend to be good at) Then chances are you'll be on the side-lines heaving that stuff back up, especially if its hot. Gaotraide is a little better, but you can't beat some cold, fresh water. | |

| I agree with M14, energy drinks and strenuous activity don't generally mix well. Bring water, and maybe some energy bars. Clif bars are my personal favorite. | |

| Also, if you're just drinking NOS in-between games you're gonna start to get twitchy, which for a sniper is always a bad thing. Like M14 said, Gatorade or water is the way to go. | |

| That stuff also dehydrates you. Being a heat casualty is not fun. Imagine being able to feel your body shutting down... not fun. Stick with water and gatorade. I'm going to an OP tonight and will be drinking four gallons of water MINIMUM. | |
