| Is it just not firing? If so, i would see if your motor is disconnected to your gearbox, or the wire that connects to the battery is not connected to the gearbox. To do this you will most likely need to take it apart, or take it to a local gunsmith. There are plenty of guides online, here are a few links to them. Also, I'm assuming that this is a RAS, not a RIS, because i have not found anything about a RIS. Also, I could not find any guides on the jg model, but I have read that it disassembles just like any other mp5. http://www.wpairsoft.com/forum/showthread.php?p=24065Just click on the different links for help, sorry, the only guides I could find were video guides. http://www.filairsoft.com/forum/showthread.php?p=188529Sorry the guides pretty much stink, but I'm sure you'll do fine. If not, try searching a bit yourself, with a different search engine; I used google. Good luck! ard | |

| Its probably the fuse, alot of times when you use a new battery there will be a surge and it may possibly break the fuse. A motor is in a fixed, soldered position so it being a motor problem is highly unlikely.
M16, describe what your gun does when you pull the trigger, that would be a little more helpful...and if any mishaps, such as it being dropped, stuff like that.

| L.W: I agree, I think Its a fuse problem, too. When he pulls the trigger, NOTHING happens. no noise whatsoever. It was working fine the entire day, (This happened when we were in Kentucky) It was before our first match, and our other friend had it in his hands. He shot one at a tree, to make sure the battery was alright. Shot fine. another one, and another one, one more, then just nothing. Thats what happened. | |

| Yea its likely to be either a fuse problem which your lucky if it is.
Did it smell like "magic smoke" when it stopped?

| There should be two sets of connectors in the gun, 1 with a fuse on it and another that feeds directly into the mechbox. Take the one with the fuse off and fire the gun 1 time. If it shoots then its your fuse, if not then you should check the Connectors on the motor. If those are fine then you will probably have to re solder the whole mechbox.
Good luck and keep us posted. Oh yeh if it is the fuse buy 25+ volt fuses. You could always play without one, I did for a long time..

| Is it just making an empty firing noise if so I may can help you . The gun is firing yet nothing is coming out of the barrel , I owned a gun once that did this very same thing the solution ? It caught WM on their way to the local landfill , but I may be able to keep you from having to go down the same road that I did . The gearbox is working and the trigger is connected to the gearbox however I believe had I took the gun apart I would have found that the spring had been dissconnected from the gearbox . Hope that I was of at least some help .

| Check your batteries too. Try using one of double taps batteries to see if that works, if not check the wires inside the mechbox. You might have to take it to some sort of airsmith.

sticks I let him try some of my batterys....nothing. I still think its the fuse, but with our school starting and Orientations and stuff, I haven't gotten to get over to his house, so we haven't taken it apart yet.
