| Spring pistols usually suck compared to gas and electric pistols. They're really just for messing around but can be dirt cheap back ups as well. Personally if you're looking for a pistol in the under $100 range i'd recommend something like this. GBB's will outperform any spring or electric pistol and KJW makes some of the best on the market. Very very durable as well from what i've heard. | |

| If you're just a beginner and want an okay semi-auto, CO2 pistol, I would go to your local sports store and just look through the airsoft guns, pick out a few that you like, go home, do a little research on the ones you like, go back, and buy the best one. Thats what I did awhile back and when I had the $ and everybody I played with had nice AEG's, I went and ordered an AEG, but a good beginner CO2 pistol you can grab at a sports store. | |

| no C02 is no good.. sure they are cheap, but most likely they will be shooting over your fields limit and plus it isn't very realistic to have a pistol shooting hotter than a rifle. also you wouldn't be able to use it in close quarters as there are usually engagements distance rules and some engagement rule relating to your fps (i.e. single shot only inside building etc) what ever you do, don't go with a CO2 pistol. its a waste of 40-50 bucks you could have put towards a nice GBB | |

I do not have that problem with mine... that's cause we play in backyards and at the ranch so we don't have fps restrictions like that. lol!

| But this guy is a beginner, I don't think he's going in an op with a pistol, (no offence if you are) he probably is playing in backyards. | |

| If your goal is to make somebody bleed, a 12g CO2 canister powered pistol will do nicely. I don't recommend it, of course.
I have the full length version of the one NN2H linked. It's nice and accurate on semi and can really put heads down on fully automatic. The kick feels really good, especially on full-auto. It's pretty gas-efficient as well. On semi, one fill of gas can last two fills of BBs. Even experienced players fear this thing. I highly recommend it. It's a great primary replica for plinking or CQB and an awesome secondary for if/when you get into serious airsoft.

| Yeah thats what I would do... wait a sec... that is what I did. If I were you I would just run down to a Dick's Sporting Goods and get one there. I looked at their sight, they have a lot of stores in that area, and a nice selection of CO2 pistols. | |
