DBOYS ak74su update

ok, so i totally f-ed up on my soldering. and i couldn't figure out why my AEG would not fire and why the batteries wouldn't charge.
well it seems i soldered the wires in the wrong place. so i just switched them and now everything works.
also i picked up some new bucking and a nice MADBULL (love madbull) 6.03mm tbb (229mm long)
so now my AEG is operating at peak performance with what i have.
i can't wait to use it on sunday

not really. i look at it in a positive way. its a good learning experience. i very well couldn't do what i did to my AK when i started to airsoft. everything is a learning experience. before i though you could just buy a tbb and you would be good. but then i learned you are supposed to replace the bucking as well (owner of the field i play at told me)
i have learned so much through all the problems.
and now that i know, i can ramp up my airsoft replicas with little or minimal effort due to my knowledge. As you have seen first hand what a piece of garbage this AK was and how i turned it into a beauty

And to think after a year of airsofting, I'm still afraid of my gearbox, haha

i have a few gearboxes sitting around my house i haven't opened up yet. (future projects yay!)

After six years and several projects, I'm still afraid of mine.

took it out for a spin on the playing field today.... my Don\'t use the Lord\'s name in vain.... it was destroying.... is was only shooting 300 fps but it was still reaching far and accurately (with just a .20) next time im gonna use .23s or .25s to improve it
also my battery was running very efficiently
one 8.4v 1100mah battery with a deans connector lasted me all day long
