| What you're looking at is the original, hand-drawn blue-prints of the cockpit of the F/A-18 Hornet. My uncle was part of the team that made the very first Hornet in 1978 (Which these blueprints are dated) at McDonnel-Douglas. The Test Pilot actually wouldn't take the plane off the runway until my uncle came out and checked all the systems. He's now working on the Harrier jet, and, I'm not able to say too much, (he wasn't able to tell me too much even) but he's working on the hardware for a new targeting system. | |

| Thanks for the picture! My grandfather drew the blueprints for the Vulcan Cannon. I'll ask him if I can get a picture when I head out to the other side of the country this summer | |

My mother worked as a computer technician for Northrop Grumman during the B-2 stealth bomber project.
Thats some cool stuff. Thanks for sharing. I don\'t have anything like that...haha.

| my uncles an Army sniper in Afganastan right now hasn\'t been home in 8 years(really f-ed up story) my grate uncle was a Liutendant in nam my other great uncle who passed in 08 was part of the 101 airborne. Both of my great grand dads served in ww2 and one of my great great gandpas severed in WW1.
But I love the blue prints. Very cool your allowed to share with us to. | |
