The GHKs are Grade A P.O.S. internally. They'll work great through the first two or three mags, and then you'll have everything go to shitt. The only good thing about those are the amazing externals that are licensed by Kalashnikov. There aren't even upgrades on the market for them, so you're stuck with the stock internals. I've heard of people in South Africa machining their own internals, and even then, it only half worked. If the internals were half-decent and there were upgrades for it, I'd tell you to definitely go for it, but... :/

I feel for ya man, I really do. I wanted one of those real bad, but then I read some more about them.

Well from the looks of it you can supply the entire Russian military with an AK.

Anyways it's smexy I like all black over wood but thats just my opinion.

besides if im paying 300+dollar (around) i would expect it to be a POS. If its an expensive higher end airsoft replica, i wouldn't expect the makers to just put in the crappiest parts they can find lest they tarnish their brand name. I think that all GBBR are actually very reliable and very easy to fix/use (because of their realistic takedown

The most notable place I read about it was a South African forum specializing in Kalashnikov-style replicas. They said that after you put two or three mags through it, it pretty much just falls apart. Seals start to fail, springs snap, the trigger mechanism goes to shitt, the loading nozzle breaks, stuff like that. I've read on other international forums about similar things happening, but not all at once. I haven't seen many upgrades for the GHKs either, meaning you'd have to replace broken parts with more factory parts. Just doesn't seem worth it to me.

As for GHK being #1 in GBB Kalashnikovs, that's because nobody else makes GBB-R Kalashnikovs, haha. It's hard not to be number one when you're the only one haha.
