| The stock is basically the whole gun , not like assault rifles , you might as well buy a new gun . | |

| now here is an open market, there is a wood worker here, I´m sure that if you hit him up, with exactly with what your are looking for, he could set you straight, nothing looks better than a sniper rifle, with real wood grain stock !!! INHO ! | |

| Wow what a find , instead of making me a wooden one ( which will be a little in the future say a year or two ) , I might have to purchase a carbon fibre one . | |

| Man I like that green one if only it were black and affordable , I say that because even though I did not see a price I am almost positive it is out of my price range and just so ya'll know those for real guns just incase ya'll didn't know already . | |

| Wow carbon fiber, you gun would weigh like an ounce, (exaggeration, maybe only an ounce more than the internals though.) | |

| I can't get the link to work but if its what I think it is, then thats the same stock that on the real M40A3. Theres another company that can get you something similar for $200 less. McMillan also makes the TAC 50 which is used by Canadian snipers. It made the worlds longest combat shot at 2657M which is just over a mile and a half. Heres the McMillan site: http://mcmfamily.com/I hope you guys know that it will take a few months to dremel out everything thats needed to fit a VSR or a L96. Also it takes a few months for them to make you stock because demand is so high. Theres always Ebay, just look for broken Clone l96's. sticks | |

| wait, wouldn't the dimension of the internals on a real gun be different then an airsoft sniper thus meaning that those stocks would not work. | |

| Yeah , you'd have to buy a stock in which the internals haven't been drilled , and then drill them to match your gun whenever you get it . | |

| You will also have to 'bed' the barrel and the action of a stock in the same way you bed a real gun. Really unless you can drop $600 on a stock and another $50 on prep and bedding materials its not worth it at all...... I'm making a wooden stock for $50 worth of quality lumber. I'm using cedar because the lack of weight is amazing, and its one of the easiest woods to work with. Its actually going to be a AICS stock which is a L96 stock thats on an M700. link to AICS: http://www.ketmer.com/ai/aics/index.htmIll post pics when its done. I'm probably going to paint it so the wood wont be showing. I just wanted a different stock. The only problem your going to have with wood is the places where its under a half inch thick, you are either going to have to reinforce that area or make it bigger. sticks | |

| That is basically a ghillie wrap , right ? I am thinking of buying one for my L-96 after painting it , to give it more of a 3-D look . | |
