| Right, because if it's placed the traditional way with the stars on the right LEFT, it would symbolize that you're going backwards aka retreating.

| Okay thanks for clarifing that, I got confused from the loaner uniform it had a reatreating flag which isn't how I role. Finish the fight at all cost to keep the land free.
Okay now how far down does it need to be when sewn on? any markers? | |

| I have i've gotten from 1/2 inch to 3 inches from the seam line. Do you know what a woodlands BDU regs are? I'll go off that. Plus I will keep googling. | |

| On my father's uniform, it did not have flags. I am pretty sure that they don't have them. The ACU's do, though, and they are exactly 2 inches down (i measured a second ago) | |
