Warhammer 40k

No, not the computer games. (computer games are fun but are nothing like the boardgame)

This was an old hobby i used to have right before airsoft.

Quite an expensive and time consuming hobby (though not as expensive as airsoft)

Basically its a wargame that involves a lot of strategy, tactics, units, etc.

I used to play this game all the time.

Does/did anyone else play this game?

I used to, Space Marines FTW.
Now I "collect" WarMachine, basically the same thing, just steam punk.

I had 1000 pts of Tau.
1500 SM(ultramarines)
1750pts of IG

Re-doing my IG army, sold all the old stuff. I'm working on a 2000pt list with the option to make it a 3000pt list.

This is all after airsoft of coarse Very Happy

. PS yes I still get girls.... No I'm not a total Lame... Laughing

i still have:
2500 pts of chaos space marines (word bearers)
2250 pts of space marines (soul drinkers)
i did start a mechanicus themed army (IG) but haven't done much work to it, and put that project on hold..

also i never had problems getting girls Very Happy

( i just never let them know about my hobby.... haha )

i almost started a Grey Knights army. But it was too expensive for my taste. it would have cost me about 100 bucks to get just 1 hq and 2-3 troops choices .

the grey knights squads were expensive at 35 a pop.. Sad

for only 5 guys...

but u could drop em in the middle of an enemy army and wipe them out without ever losing a guy with one squad lol I LOVE MY GREY KNIGHT TERMINATORS!!! Ill take a pic later and post it. same with my new airsoft kit but thatll be in a different forum lol

@Gentry. If you want i can give you a few websites that you can buy these from~

@ Sang Angelthats true, but you could do that same with space marines as well.
and CSM Very Happy

i had a nice possessed squad that was geting 42 CC attacks on a charge. i wiped out whole squads with only a charge Very Happy

here is my army(s) (half painted i got really lazy) also its not painted very well.

This is the best looking 40k piece i ever painted. MY LANDRAIDER with 14 armor all around~
