| be sure to let you know how it goes. I'm excited. and yes durkee i will let you know but that magnifier is a bit wierd on evike. they advertise it as a 4X optical zoom, but the description says 3x optical zoom.... i'm very confused. haha either way i'm happy though | |

| Sorry for the double post. Just got my mich helmet, 3x optic, and red dot. First on the MICH: I'm satisfied with the helmet its feel very sturdy. not cheap and plasticy like my other helmet. (its fiber glass i believe) its sits a bit high on my head though due to thick padding. but other than that it looks sexy especially with my ESS goggles overall awesome 3X OPTIC: I like it a lot, Considering it was only 50 bucks. Its very adjustable and very high quality. I very very satisfied with this. Only problem is it's mount is a little low, but not a biggy since i can buy a raised mount overall awesome~ NCSTAR Reddot Considering it was only 26 bucks. It is it alright. It's a pain in the @$$ to adjust and zero in. the knobs for adjustment and turning on the dang thing are really really difficult to turn. also when i went to adjust the reddot i would turn the knobs but it looks like nothing was happening. overall this reddot is pretty mediocre. | |

| Did you unscrew the turret cap so you can adjust the dot? You'll need a screwdriver | |

no i didn't try that quite yet. I was thinking that maybe if i just popped the cap off then i could adjust it with ease. i'll have to check when i get home. but if it can't be adjusted. thats alright. i get what i pay for i suppose haha i just figured it out. the dot is on the far left basically. but it is centered with the rifle. so at least it works. but now i have zero peripheral vision on my scope (except to the right side hmmmm)

Does it just make the red dot scope 3x zoomed?

| Instead of a 1x magnification red dot sight, it becomes a 3x magnification illuminated dot scope | |

| you shouldn't need 5x for any AEG if your going to be a sniper 4x is all the more you will need. 2x should be fine, kinda wounder why NN2H didnt take that path and save a buck. | |

Wouldnt it be 6x.... Add, not multiply @David If you're getting a 2x red dot it should be fine by itself. You could always buy extra magnification later, if at all.

| I would buy a carryhandle rail, I have a combat machine, and mounted a bravo 551 replica on that. | |

A carryhandle rail? or just a carry handle, how would either help me mount a red dot?

| Just put the red dot on ur gun. i don't know what you're asking. A riser rail? Then sure, get a carry handle rail. But it looks ugly. | |

A carryhandle rail? or just a carry handle, how would either help me mount a red dot? This, It would make sure that the dot is above the non removable front sight
