HALP!

GAH!!!! So I have a guy who wants to buy my iPod Touch from me. Of course this means that I will have more monies. Therefore I wantz gunz, but I don't know which one I should get. I'll be doing my own hunting but I figured I'd get a few opinions from the forum. Right now I'm liking the DBOY AKS-74 (RK-03)

If you wanna help me out, here's what I'm looking for.
STYLE: AK[74]. I don't mind if it's an AKS-74, AK-74u, AKS-74u, as long as it has "74" in the name. Mainly because I need it to have the side mount for an optics rail and 74's are teh sexs.

MAX PRICE: $175

MIN. REQUIREMENTS:
--min. fps-375~
--range: 100~ feet
--ROF: around 600 rpm

I prefer to buy from sites like AirsoftGI, Evike, maybe Kapowwe, but keep it stateside. Won't be ordering from Asia on this one

Anyone ever order from HitGuns.com? They have good prices and seem pretty decent.

I believe HitGuns is asia based. Also try AirsoftAtlanta and maybe AirsoftStation. Weapon Blender is also another retailer that is stateside.

On AK based guns you usually must mount an optic rail on the side of the gun that then comes up over the top of the receiver like a normal optic would.

Anyway i would recommend a CYMA 74, haven't heard anything really good about Dboys guns.

Nah, the rail mount is usually integrated in the gun. You buy the rail separately.

Gentry, thanks for your help, but I'm not talking about the actual scope mount, just the ramp that the rail slides onto.

Me too. the G&G one can work with real AK mounts, but I do not know about other companies, as i only own a G&G

I own a DBOY's AK it runs very well.
Yes all airsoft AK rail mounts are basically real and can be fitted with real AK scopes etc.

Either CYMA or DBOYs, it all comes down to how much work you want to do when taking down the rifle.

I want it to be as realistic as possible, which is why I do believe I'm going to purchase the D-BOY RK-03 AKS-74!
