| I want to know if I should get a UTG L96, Dboys AKS-74U, CYMA M14, JG MP5, or some other pretty good AEG from around $90 to $130. I currently use a UTG M324 and want to upgrade to the L96 or get away from the Sniper role for a while. I love the sniper role, but if you think you know an AEG in that price range that you think can pull me from sniper to designated marksman or recon/CQC guy, please tell me. | |

| Ya, but an AEG is a great all around gun, and you can still "snipe" with it. | |

| Is it durable? At this point, I'd still pick the L96, due to not having to deal with gearboxes and batteries. | |

| I never said the L96 was better I hate sniper rifles in airsoft, they are overpowered, not very accurate a lot of the time, and shoot slower than an AEG. I think they should be destroyed >:} | |

| The CYMA M14 is electric, I do believe? If so, I have heard that it is a fine gun. In my opinion, though, you should get a smaller gun, and run up and join the fight. Snipers have a very small place of usefulness in airsoft. | |

| I do prefer small guns, I'm a recon/ CQC kinda player. I also love H&K and Russian guns, but the CYMA and Dboys AKS-74U's are a little on the "getting too high side". And I hear Dboys is better, but has a crappy magazine. I also plan to buy like $20 worth of .2 BBs, so is JG MP5A4 or G36C, or G36K good? Or DE UMP. Or KS P90 w/ Red Dot Sight. Or a shotgun or spring gun that isn't a sniper rifle, that can go up against AEGs. I really like ergonomics and accuracy, as long as it's good enough to take out other players with AEGs in a woodland field, at about 60-120 ft. | |

| No, the Beta is not good. I wouldn't get anything JG except the G36. Like I said, the M14 is the best all around rifle in my opinion. It's pretty small, only about the size of a m16. | |

| I like the Socom 16. but now it's $145 and not $125. Is the Matrix 870/ S&W M3000 any good? | |

| No, don't get shotguns, there not very good for actual games. if you insist on saving that $20 get a JG G36 | |

| Don't even look at shotguns if you want to become a serious player. | |

| I can't really "save up" because I don't get much of anything to "save up". My birthday and Christmas are the real times I get money for airsoft. So for an airsoft game in the woods with like 100ft. range would a 400FPS shotgun be effective if it's like a 4v4? It's $80 and full metal, so it seems cool and I can get an extra magazine and a lot of ammo for it, whereas if I bought an AEG, I would only be able to get limited ammo and no extra magazines. | |

| FPS doesnt mean much, my Combat machine outperforms all the JGs that are shooting around 400 fps. | |
