| Does anybody know where I can get some plates for my vest 11''x14''
Or some alternitives plates for now? how long would cardboard last as a plate, or are there any other plate ideas? | |

| Cardboard should last a long time since it is not really taking the hit, your outer portion of your vest is taking it, the cardboard just stops it more. Im sure it will get dents in it, but hey, its extremely inexpensive haha. I just picked up a pair of medium sapi plates from my local field owner, two mediums to put in my CIRAS, haven't finished weighting them yet though. | |

| I know you can get plastic dummy plates at weaponblender and redwolf. I think I saw them on either evike or GI as well. I got a pair when I got my vest from redwolf. | |

| Yeah, the dummy plates themselves weigh barely anything at all. Just make sure you don't fall on them and smash them off some hard material (rock, tree stump) It might puncture the plastic. As of now, I am using a 10 and 5 pound lifting waiting that I put in my plate carrier.
