| Okay this is probably a noob question but I'm going to ask anyways. Why is CO2 so unreliable? I mean thats the only think I've ever used so I don't really know the difference. So just a quick thing like, "CO2 is back because ______" And "Green gas or propane is better because _____"
Thanks | |

| CO2 is bad for most gbb pistols because most were not meant to shoot that hard (fps wise) and have no need to shoot that hard. CO2 produces alot of wear and tear on the internals even if the are "CO2 ready" .
Green gas/propane is a good because it keeps your gun at a nice fps (my kjw 1911 tactical is shooting around 290 with it). The wear is a lot less noticeable, also the green gas lubricates your gun with every shot because of the silicone in it. For propane, you just need to add it into the mixture that goes into your magazine.

Depends on what you mean by that. You can make a GBB last forever, technically. When something breaks, replace it. But if you mean how long will it last without replacing parts, a solid year...longer if you take care of it. | |

| I was wondering about how long they last cause I have this CO2 pistol I really like that I've had for I think at least 2 years now and I've never had to replace any of the parts. | |

| They last until you break them. If you like it just maintain it and enjoy it. | |

| Ok so CO2 is part liquid and part gas and has a tendency to rapidly cool down very fast. While the gas part is ok to an extent the liquid part, if it gets into the gun can cause issues in the long run like freezing seals and causing them to blow out. Plus consistency is a pain while using CO2 and it performs even worse in cold weather then green gas does. Generally as a rule of thumb i'd avoid CO2 if at all possible. | |

| That is also why the KJW 1911 tactical (which is very well made) is only rated an 6000 shots. You can get many more if you don't shoot the CO2 magazines. | |

| Okay, that makes sense but, if CO2 is so bad how come I've been able to shoot my CO2 pistol like it's new for over 2 years? | |
