| So me and my sniper buddy were waiting for two people to fall into our trap and get shot while we were hiding, my sniper was about 35 feet away from me and we were both well hidden, they came near us and I unloaded and almost hit one of them, so they both started shooting at me, pinning me behind a tree, I was about 20 feet away from one of them in the weeds, and the other was about 40 feet away from me, they both were coming towards me slowly, not noticing my sniper, I was shooting blindly just trying to hit them but no such luck. What should I have done? | |

Problem is... he was too afraid of being seen and every time I popped my head out to shoot at one of them, the other one would shoot bbs at me!

I tried, and managed to take out the one that was close lying in the weeds, but then the other one took both of us out eventually.

Nah he's really committed, its just that he just barely got his sniper so he's still learning the basics.

| Guys, this is a pointless conversation between yourselves, unless someone has something more informational to add to the topic, you should just keep this to PM's. | |

| The logical thing for your sniper to do would be to shoot the enemy... you shouldn't have to tell him that. | |

| Also, I've found in Airsoft, you can outun a BB, or...so to speak. Most people underestimate how difficult it is to hit a target moving in a full sprint or close to it. The BBs just don't move quick enough. You should've made a dash for it, but to the left or right, not directly away from them. Your chances were good of getting away, especially at forty feet distances. Or, you can just hit your target the first time When ambushing or stalking, I'm a HUGE perfectionist, I hold fire until that PERFECT oppurtunity. Yes, its been my death before, but Its how I am and its a really good thing to master. | |

| I agree with double-taps. wait until the perfect shot to take your shot. also, it shouldn't matter if he was still learning the basics of his rifle, when his teammate is in trouble, he needs to try and take a shot! failure to do so indicates either incompetence or cowardice. if that is the case, get a new team sniper. | |

| I have to agree with M14, you as the spotter need to be a BETTER sniper than whoever your sniper is. So your first shot needs to be a kill (of course, we all miss sometimes).
Also I have to agree that your partner should have helped out. If he helps you might lose, if he doesn't, then you will lose.
To fix both problems you need to practice practice and practice some more. Also, what secondary weapons do you use?

| I understand why your sniper didn't shoot, but as for you, I wouldn't popped out and tried to aim and shoot 'em, bind-firing is cheap and if you did get hit while popping out to aim, who cares, you increase your chance of hitting one or both, instead of just staying behind a tree so they come close and get you out anyway. Maybe your sniper shouldn't be a sniper, I'm a sniper and I hate being afraid of shooting and missing and then getting lit up. With an AEG, all my fears wouldn't exist. I can't wait 'til I get another AEG. | |
