| Killer!!! I wonder how well it works.
That price is horrid though...that's $1.50's worth of components right there. | |

| The price definitely sucks but with the first product out maybe another company will sell them cheaper. I might get one next time I get money and do a review. | |

| That's awesome! If I didn't have to buy $157244 worth of textbooks I'd get that. | |

| Eh...I'd rather install a mosfet because it does a little more than timed relay circuitry.

| I think this may be the first actually successful thread I've ever made, normally there's only 2 or 3 (unenthusiastic) replies. I really hope someone gets one of these though because they seem like they could be popular if they're known to function reliably. | |

| um, why spend the money when you could a. modify it as shown in durkee's post (if you could understand it ) or b. just hold the trigger for only a second at a time to get the desired burst. I don't use aegs though, so someone correct me if I'm wrong. | |

| Well the key word here is active braking. Burst fire is a set number of rapid shots with one pull of the trigger that might last just a single click. What active braking does, is on the final shot in the burst it stops the motor, electrically to prevent it from coasting over into a compressed, or semi compressed position.
For example I use a LiPo in my Echo 1 Stag 15 M8A3. I discovered that it would compress the spring after firing a shot in semi, whereas the piston should have not been drawn at all. Until I could pick up a active braking MOSFET from Spamman, the owner of Infected Airsoft Shop, I put the LiPO aside and stuck to the 8.4 v.
@A. Sniper. What you described is ethical when talking about real guns, however in that case you are judging bursts and relying on reaction time. It would save the life and fps of a AEG to install a active braking set up.

| My paycheck comes on monday, so I'll spend it on this, and let you guys know how it works. I don't wanna spend the money, but a 3-round-burst AK47 will be badass. | |

| Where'd you find that circuit diagram Durkee? Looks interesting. I have most of those components too. Hmmmmm.... No, no. No projects for me. Not now. It took me 4 months to finally finish my HUTU. And for those who are confused by the circuit diagram: Wikipedia! | |
