| I don't think there is much to say. It is obviously more economical and practical for proportionate auto fires or other small fires.
It's known that motorcycles have better fuel economy than large fire engines, also the bike is better at getting through traffic than the large engines. It would definitely be effective if the firecycles rode in pairs. One with the fire extinguisher tanks, and the other with medical kits and a jaws-of-life set.

| I have to admit, if I saw a dozen of these guys zipping down the streets it would look pretty cool But practically, I think its a good idea. Automotive fires are fast and can risk many other commuters lives if not contained quick enough, and as Wolf said, they would be very effective at manuevering traffic. I imagine that they would be a bit faster, too. | |
