LAW-1/ ATL-1

So this was a project that my friend and I did today.
It took us about an hour and a half to do (Not including battery charging and dinner breaks. XD)
Unfortunately, it only shoots a tennis ball about 20 feet...
Heres the upside. The cost:
-3/8 x 6' Carrbolt (x2) 0.89
-U Bolt (x2) 3.78
-Door/Gate Spring (x2) 3.98
-2" PVC Coupling (x2) 1.72
3" x 5' PVC Pipe 5.49
TOTAL+TAX= 16.73

So, that comes out to $8.37 a pop... Not bad for a good looking prop.

All in all, mostly a fun project. This is only a proto-type. We're hoping to increase the range and velocity in other models.

So it turns out I was waaay over-engineering my system...

1. Beat me to completing a LAW replica
2. Did it for 1/8th the price
3. His actually exists at the present time (shudddup I like to have it planned out before building)

Haha I will tomarrow. Its pitch black out right now, so its not going to work too well...
And by the way, I did it in about 1/32 the time... XD

Well, even though I can throw a tennis ball further then it it's pretty cool.

LOL yeah... We're already looking at improvements for it. Right now though, its just a cool prop XD
