NVG Mount

Can someone tell me what the point of an NVG Mount on an Airsoft Helmet is?

for aesthetics mainly (they look sexy and professional) . Or if you want to be realllllllly hardcore. mount a night vision monocle on there etc.

I have an NVG mount on my helmet.

Figured. I believe GIs have also figured out how to mount cameras on them... Wish I could get one of those XD

I'll do some research and see what i can come up with for ya.
