CA Aug Help

Hey guys, i've been wanting to beef up my CA Aug. I am getting the phantom kit and a longer tightbore for it. Do you guys have any tips for ROF? Its steady at about 15 or so currently with the 8.4 and ive tested it with a 9.6 and achieved around 20. The only problem is that the battery does not fit . Do you guys know of any batteries that could beef it up ROF wise without harm to the internals? I am worried that I am not skilled enough to open the GB so I am not planning on doing that. Also, if I do, how hard would it be to dis-and re-assemble the GB and to reshim it? I would like it to sound a bit smoother if possible.

If you don't have any upgrade experience then you shouldn't try to open it up yourself. You can buy the parts and have a trusted technician or experienced buddy install them for you.

As for the battery, since it's a Classic Army the internals should be ok running a 9.6. Try something like this should work, unless there's something I don't know about AUG battery space.

That or you could try running a LiPo, but that may damage your internals.
