Bass, definitely. There isn't enough of those around these days, and guitar solos get kinda old after a while (especially those during the 80's--they all sound the same).

If by Indie you mean lesser known artists and by mainstream you mean the sh*t that comes out of LA like Bieber, Disney, Katy Perry, Lady Gaygay, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, and all the other terrible devil chants
