Hello, I was wondering if the WE M911 was pretty good or not and would a WE M92 / WE M9A1 be better? Also, do the Navy SEALs use a M1911? Thanks.

Ive heard different opinions on WE as a replica manufacturer. Some say yes, others say no. Although I haven't had any experience with them, I do have friends, many on this forum, who have had good experiences with them. I would suggest going over some of the reviews posted and talking to some owners of the replicas you are interested in before making your final purchase.

Have a WE M1911. Never have i seen such an accurste replica of a firearm... This thing looks and feels so \"Watch your language\" good in your hand its unbelievable. Performance, for me isn't the greatest because i bought it from someone after three years of hardcore use.... It barely gets one mag of gas and range is limited. You be your own judge on this one

i used to own a 1911, i love it it had a good kick, and as m14 said, felt like it belonged in your hand. an extension of my own body. shots went where i need them, got a few shots at guys about 75 ft away and hit them.

I think I am going to go with the WE M1911, I don't like the SOCOM MEU M1911 since it has the Marine grips (not dissing them or anything), but I just like how plain the WE M1911 is. I am going to have the WE HK416 as a primary and the WE M1911 as a secondary. One website I saw said the M1911 is still used by the Navy SEALs and the HK416 is used by SEAL Team Six. I am going for a Navy SEAL loadout and if that is true about the M1911 I will be set and pretty happy.
