| I've named all three of my real guns if that counts.
As for soldiers naming theirs i've never personally come across this. But i have read about them naming their guns (mostly female names) in the past. | |

| If anyone watches Full Metal Jacket, you can recall Lee Ermey telling his recruits that their rifles will be the closest thing to pussy they will get.. (or something like that) and so they named them probably for that reason, for feminine side to the battle field  but in reality... I don't know XD | |

| I named my M249 Anastasia I also scratch the number of kills I get in tally marks on the side of her stock. I picked that ritual up from a Vietnam vet who named his M60 Lillian, so thar ya go. | |
