| Hello Fellow Airsoftlers, The winter is on the way, and that is my time to build a new gun without having to stop and work on somebody elses. As we all know the selection is endless but I have narrowed it down to the following gun, and just wanted to hear your opinions on which one you like the best. I already have the GB, and it is ready for a spring up to M170, but I won´t be going that high. So please let me hear your thoughts and comments, Thanks P.S. There will be a video of this gun getting built, if anybody is interested. | |

| I think the First and second ones are "ballin", if you will. the third one, in my opinon, sorta reminds me of those cheap electric guns you buy that come with 25 accessories. I'm sure that it isn't but I cannot shake that feeling whenever I look at it. The first and second ones look really BA, but If I had to pick, I would say the second one. That thing just looks plain SICK. Which one are you thinking about? | |

| Go for the second or third one(better yet the second with an ACOG!). are you going to buy the JP CNC machines receivers? I agree with everyone else this is gonna be a Bad A project. I wanted to slap a JP RIS on my M4, but the project would have been to expensive . I really like it though. sticks | |

| No there's different barrel/RIS lengths, and different stocks. All f the guns are made by JP precision rifles though.

| I am leaning towards the Second Rifle, with an ACOG ( was toying with the Idea ), but of course without the polished outer barrel, I will admit there will be some polishing to the receiver.
Wolf is basicly correct, they are all the same gun, differnt Reciever, different Stocks, different grips, differnet barrels, but the same gun in general.

I know they're the same Company and what-not, I was just saying I like the SETUP of the second one the best. They have different stocks, scopes, reciever, etc..... But yes....I still think the second setup is the way to go. Oh, and Slob, any idea on what the cost that your'e lookin at will be?

Oh, and Slob, any idea on what the cost that your'e lookin at will be? umm, will I stood corrected work better for you...lolz this is going to be a multi-hundred dollar project. Since they seem to already have the CNC, getting the metal and cut out templates will take another $500 if not a thousand...

| I am looking at a starting cost of between, 600 to 800 $$, not counting the Scope, ACOG and Gearbox( GB is done ). Paint job ? for starters it will be Black, I am no fan of painted rifles, most Paint Jobs are poorly or incorrectly done, but that is just my opinion.
The first problem, and I havn´t even started is the Butt Stock. For stability it will be REAL STEEL, so we get to bump up the starting price, and will have to purchase the Adapter set.
Then we come to the barrel, because this is a Free Floating set-up, the barrel will have to have extra supports inside the RIS, and the Rail will have to go the entire the length for support , don´t want to end up with a barrel wobble after a few months of Playing.
Will probably go with a Raised Rail set-up, where the RIS meets the Receiver.
Trigger guard will be replaced, and maybe just for decoration, ( actually for back up ), some flip up Iron sights will be added. Going to have to wait and see.
By the way, if you happen to come up with some other Ideas for this rifle, let me know, I´ll try almost anything once !! NO Grenade launcer !!!!

| Hmmz...Slob it may be a good Idea to put a Bipod on this gun. ????Kind of reminds me of a M4 with a G3 carbine length barrel????
A M203 would look 'OK' but not necessarily the best attachment. so agreed. And its more moola

| @M14 double-taps Body is almost finnished, having a slight problem with the ejection port cover, should have is solved by the weekend, GB, is finnished, just have to install the Mosfet, DeepFire, 7mm Shell Full metal tooth piston, ( DeepFire ) Bore Up Cylinder and Cylinder Head DeepFire Professionel Bore Up Piston Head Bore up Nozzle Prometheus Ultimate Torque Up Gears Deep Fire M130 Spring ( to start with, most likely will have to Tune Down ) Systema Magnum Motor Chrom Molybdnum Pinion Gear Metal Bushings DeepFire ARL Teflon / Nozzle DIY mods @got ambushed? They are all based on the JP CTR-02 ( Competition Tactical Rifle ) Diffrent barrel lengths and attachments, gives barrel lengths in 16, 18, 20 and 24 inch, depending on finances and time will probably do one in 16 and 20 inch versions. just got to wait a little longer. | |
