| Idk if any of yall watch the tv show numb3rs, but they had an episode where they introduced a fully automatic assult rifle called a Bnt 35. It fired .50 caliber rounds at a rate of 1,100 rounds per second. It was made by a belgian company that normally manufactured sniper rifles. They used a thin chamber wall to keep the rifle light. However, due to the fast rof, if any more than three mags in a row were run through the gun it would misfire and explode out the back. Why the manufacterers missed this flaw was not revealed, but the flaw was pretty obvious to a math genius looking at a diagram. Anyways, although it was fictional it looked pretty ba. It fired straight through an FBI car for cryin out loud, and apparently it blew through a wall, went a distance of about 200 yards, went through another wall, went through a man's head (leaving a clean hole) through another wall in the house and finally lodged into a doorframe, which I thought was a little dumb. Here's a picture of it. It looks like they took a classic L96 stock and put a scar barell and handgaurd on it, threw a bipod on the front and pumped .50 caliber rounds through it. Far fetched yes, but it made for good tv. picture | |

| SL8 Stock, (Reversed) SCAR-L Upper Reciever, XM8 Front, M14 Magazine. Good lord whoever photoshopped that is a pro! Pretty cool, although I hope you meant 1100 rounds per minute. Mainly because the M134 (Minigun) shoots between 3000 and 6000 RPM, sooooo 1100 per SECOND is kinda ridiculous. | |

| What a slow poke, a mere 1,100 RPM .50? AN/M3's can pump out 1,200 RPM Interesting concept though although 1,100 RPM from a shoulder fired rifle of that caliber would be quite impossible to control unless you have some serious high-tech recoil dampener or stabilizer. Oh and Numb3rs was such an awesome show! | |
