I need some help on a WE 1911. I know how to dissasemble it. but I'm having trouble finding the problem. I'm pretty good with most gas guns. Heres whats going on:

I fill the mag with BBs and gas. Cock it, ready to go. pull the trigger, and the first BB shoots fine, accurate and strong. The Blowback, however, feels a little wierd....okay. Second time I pull the trigger, no BB comes out, however the Blow-back still....blows back. So i'm basically just shooting gas at my opponents. HOWEVER--if i manually cock it after every shot, like a spring pistol, It will shoot the BB fine. Any suggestions?? Oh--and were pretty sure the problem is because of usage with Propane. If that helps.

Propane and green gas are both C3H8, the only difference is that the green gas has sillicone lube added to it. If when ever you fill up your mag you add a tiny amount of sillicone lubeto the nozzel of the propane adaptor there will be no problems.

It sounds to me like your problem is mechanical. How far back doe sth slide move after the first shot? Look at the area where the mag's feed meets the chamber, do you see any damage? How about the nozzel on the gun, is it damaged? Field strip the gun and look at all the seals inside, are any damaged?

Your post described the problem pretty well, but more info is needed to make a proper diagnostic. Take it to the local airsoft store if you can, they should have a GBB gunsmith who can help you.

I had this EXACT problem, with this EXACT gun.

Make sure that you put a lot of lubricant on the slide and keep the mags warm and it should work just fine. Basically just lube up all the internals with silicone spray.
