| Okay, I have been looking through a lot of guns lately not all airsoft some real steel guns to. Well I was wondering do you like the SOCOM versions or the normal size versions more. Personaly I like them both it just depends on the gun it's self if it's like a sniper (DM) socom M14 vs a M14 I think I would go with the normal size, but lets say it's a M24 vs M24-a2 (if you don't know what it is it's a socom M24 with a silentser) I would go with the M24-a2. Now I leave it up to you,What do you like more? | |

| it really depends on the environment that is why i picked both indoors i would want a compact gun but out doors i would like to have that little bit of extra range for an easy example and i will be using the gun that i will most likely get in the future. Say we were playing indoor i would still use my para saw only the stock would be folded over to give me more maneuverability and if we were outside it would most likely be out so that it can be more stable. | |

| I said long because the longer barrel the more accurate the shot. Also when you look at an AUG its barrel starts at the back and comes up so when it looks small its really long thats what my CQBers use cause we still want accuracy. Besides if your envoirment calls for a short gun an AUG is short but has a long barrel. I think SOCOMS in general are just kinda stupid. | |

| i vote both @satan Long doesnt mean more accurate the shot you can have a 2 ft barrel and if you don't have the pushing force (compression) to handle a longer barrel you will actually loose range, speed and accuarcy. then when you add a longer barrel, spring, piston etc you must have a tight bore for two reasons less air leaking from the sides of the bb's because less gap in between the round and tb but i will get back to the topic sorry i have a m4 with piston,120 spring, tb and i can hit 4/5 times hit a 6" round target at 250 feet ironsight so you can make a short barrel hit ranged targets also its more than a long barrel.......ramble | |
