| Is it worth it to buy this weapon as a platform to build upon, or would it be more cost effective to just buy a weapon that is good out of the box? | |

| Well really you want a gun that doesn't cost to much but is also good out of the box so that way you don't go broke buying the gun and so you have money left over to upgrade the gun you just got. Over all CA guns are good and fairly cheap compared to some other makes out there so maybe if you could save up some more get the gun plus some upgrades it would end up even better so i would just say do your homework make sure you like it then save to get it plus the upgrades. | |

| Upgrades and all that I would get would cost me around $400. I haven't really upgraded any of my guns internally as of now so I'd probably need your guys' help with that or some online guide. | |

| ya well just start out with a tight bore this will give you more accuracy and a little more fps due to less air escaping around the bb. This upgrade doesn't make you upgrade anything else but thats about all i can tell you im not big on upgrades myself but someone will come upon this and tell you everything you need to know. Sry i couldn't help out more. | |

| Tight bore would be the first upgrade I got for it if I save up enough for it. | |

| It takes a lot more then a TB for most all sniper rifles. But I hear that the CA M24 isn't all that good unless you put A LOT of money into it but I might be mistaken and if I am I'm sorry for the mistake. | |

| Classicarmy.com has a ton of upgrades for that gun. It's just a matter of finding em at a good price. | |

| You can use APS2 upgrades in an M24. I would however recommend you get the Tanaka M24 if you want quality at a cheap(ish) price. The CA M24 is going to be just as costly, if not more costly, than the Tanaka. If you already have a spring sniper then just use that for cold weather purposes. If you are willing to shell out the extra cash then go for an HPA system, then you could use a gas sniper with the exact same reliability as a spring sniper(cold or hot). Tanaka: http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=74_81&products_id=314HPA system: http://righthookfabrication.googlepages.com/hpasystemI guess you could always buy a KJW M700 and modify it. The only difference between the M70 and the M24 is the stock has a horizontal adjustment. I know you can buy one for an APS, I'm sure you could mod it or make your own. sticks | |
